Mukluk Slippers Size:
These mukluk slippers will fit most adult women between US shoe size 5-12 and men between US shoe size 3.5-10.5. They fit over your socks and pants, and go all the way up to the knee. This pattern includes instructions for knitting an i-cord that can be woven through the top of the mukluks to keep them up.
What’s Included in the Mukluk Slippers Knitting Pattern?
With this pattern, you’ll get everything you need to know to knit your own pair of mukluks! These slippers are knitted in the round, but unlike traditional sock patterns, they include a gusset or a turned heel. The unique shape of these slippers makes them easier to knit, and more comfortable to wear!
The mukluk pattern features a funky flower design that can be customized any way you wish. If you want to do just one accent color, it’s easy to make the switch. On the other hand if you wanted to do even more than three accent colors, that’s easy too! With so many options you could make a pair of mukluks for everyone in the family!
Who Can Knit the Mukluk Slippers Pattern?
This pattern is worked in the round and involves picking up stitches and joining pieces with a kichener stitch.
The pattern also uses color charts for the stranded knitting. While some parts may be challenging for novice knitters, there are ample instructions and photos to help with the tricky parts.
This mukluk pattern is knitted using two colors of worsted weight yarn at the same time in a color work pattern. If you’ve never done stranded knitting with two colors before, this may not be the best project for your first time.
