It’s already been a crazy busy month here at ImaginAcres!
I’ve been hard at work in my clay dungeon, making tons of adorable ceramic critters. In a few more weeks I’m hoping to have all these guys glazed, fired, and up for sale!
Be sure to follow our Etsy shop so you’ll be the first to know when new pieces are up!
I love these teeny animals! They’re small enough to fit into the palm of your hand but are so full of character! The little goat is my absolute fave!
I let my imagination run wild and also created a few tiny pocket sized monsters. I love these little guys!
I also did some experimenting and created a few salt and pepper shakers, something that’s totally new to me! I made these nesting owls as solid pieces then carved out the insides so they can hold those delightful seasonings! I love them and will definitely be making more soon!
Inspired by the honey bees buzzing around on our trumpet vine, I decided to make a beehive teapot and matching mug. I can’t wait to glaze it and use it for my afternoon tea!
When I got back into the studio I got several requests to make more love mugs. The very first time I made a love mug, I was intending to make a regular mug, and bumped the clay cylinder while it was still wet. The effect looked kind of like a heart, and love mugs were born! I’ve been making these for years, they’re always a big hit!
That’s all for now, I’ll be sure to post an update when these babies are all glazed!
